Discover new talent with Artfacts.

Artfacts tracks over half a million artists, so it’s easy and fun to discover new talent that you’ve never heard of before.

Today we were looking for artists born after 1980, and we zoomed in on the Dutch artist Christien Meindertsma, the Australian duo The Tissue Culture & Art Project (Oron Catts & Ionat Zurr), the American artistMatthew Lutz-Kinoy, and Taiwanese artist Yu Cheng Ta. They have all seen a recent upswing and have had several years of growth before then, as illustrated by the comparison graph below (available using Artfacts’ Analytics/Trends service).

Equipped with this information, we can make some further research, look at exhibition history, and of course, check out the art. And if we really uncover something we like, we might start following the artists (to get updates when new art is uploaded), and we might even buy something. After all, these artists have had a good 10 years, and their respective futures look very bright indeed.
