To give you an idea of what Top Data can do, we compared the environments of Berlin and London to see when Berlin became a significant competitor with London’s art scene.In 1990, London was exploding, with first-time exhibiting artists having nearly three times as much success as their contemporaries in Berlin. But Berlin wasn’t simply lying dormant: just ten years later in 2000, its success overtook London’s by more than 2:1.
ArtFacts.Net’s Top Data shows that timing and location play a significant role in an artist’s career. While artists showing in London generally rank higher than those showing in Berlin, we now know that the year 2000 was a turning point for Berlin with some of the world’s most influential contemporary artists beginning their careers there.

This is JustMAD’s seventh edition and its goal is to stay strong in supporting emergent galleries and alternative spaces in Spain and abroad. We are tailoring an exhibiting proposal that offers an aesthetic and intellectual challenge and yet designed to be fun. JustMad 2016 is conceived with a solid aspiration to attract new audiences and collectors that we can share our passion for contemporary art with.
ARCOmadrid 2016 will revolve on, inviting 35 galleries from around the world together with the participating galleries in the General Programme and the Opening and Solo Projects sections, the Fair will also incorporate other initiatives to celebrate this symbolic date. For five days, collectors, professionals and amateurs from the art world present in Madrid are invited to discover the contemporary art scene projects of thirty or so artists, presented by national and international contemporary art galleries and chosen by a selection committee made up of curators and gallery owners.
The majestic setting of Oxford Town Hall will once again be the backdrop for the biggest collection of contemporary art to be brought together under one roof as the city prepares to host the third Oxford International Art Fair next year.
